Conference Weekend

Last year I saw a cute idea in the Friend magazine. They gave the idea of building a tent for your kids to sit in and watch General Conference. For Family Home Evening we had a lesson about King Benjamin. We talked about how all the people gathered together in their tents to hear the prophet speak to them. Saturday morning before Conference, we built a tent our "tent" and filled it with activities and goodies. We did this in April just before Annie was born and Emily LOVED it! It was a big hit this year too! She was so excited to sit in her tent and listen to President Monson speak. Looking at the pictures now makes me realize that I should have fixed them up a little for the pictures! The girls are looking a little rough, but they sure had fun. It kept Emily's attention all the way through the opening song! HA! :)
