Joseph Smith's Birthplace

We left the campsite early the next morning and drove next door to the birthplace of Joseph Smith. There's not a lot to see there, but we felt the Spirit and had a wonderful experience as a family.

The missionary giving the tour took our picture sitting on the hearthstone that Joseph sat on as a boy.

This is a chair that Joseph made.

Part of the tour was driving in a golf cart to see the foundation for the Solomon Mack and Daniel Mack homes. Emily liked it because the missionary giving the tour told her it was like a roller coaster ride.

It was very peaceful and beautiful.
What a wonderful experience for our family!
