8 Months Old...Can You Believe It?

It's hard to believe that Emily turned 8 months old on Saturday. We took her to have her pictures taken on Saturday, but Chad took a few with our camera too.

Emily's on the move!

Emily has finally figured out how to alternate her knees and hands when she crawls. She is on the move! She is curious and in to EVERYTHING! It's been fun to see her excitement.

Chad's Birthday

Chad had to begin classes at KU on his birthday. He has class only one day a week, but has to endure 9 hours of class on that day. Luckily, one class canceled and the other got out early. But our celebrations still had a late start. Emily decided to take her 3rd nap instead of going down for the night. She woke up just in time to invite herself to the party. We had a fun time.

The Watermelon Dress

This is the ever-so-cute watermelon dress. Chad's sister, Amy, made this for Emily this summer. She LOVES this dress. She spent all morning looking at the sleeves, "seeds" and the "rind". She looks darling in it. Thanks Amy!
