Happy Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Florida with my family. We had a wonderful time with our family. Emily loved spending time with her cousins, Travis and Brayden. My sister, Erin had a friend take some pictures of the kids together at the beach. My sister, Katie came up with the cute idea for the scarves and mittens in the sand, a "Florida Christmas". We also got a couple of family shots and some individual pictures of Emily.

It's A Girl!

This is a little belated but for those that don't know, we are having a girl! We are so excited. We have not chosen a name for her yet, but we have a list going. Don't worry, She will have a name! :-)

Emily is very excited about the idea having a little sister, although I'm sure that she doesn't really understand that her whole world is about to change. Ha! She went to the doctor with us to "see" the baby on the sonogram and to hear the baby's heart beat. Afterwards all she could talk about was "baby sister in Mommy's belly", "I hear baby sister's heart beat." It was very cute.

She is also excited about being a "big" sister. She is growing up so fast and is becoming much more independent. She likes to do things "My Self". Emily is a take charge kind of girl. She thrives on routines and readily reminds you of how things are done. She will give "orders" like, "Sit here Daddy." and "Mommy, in the kitchen ." We have endearingly nicknamed her "Little Bossy". She'll make a great big sister!
